RCG 6.first: A busy, busy, week.
This week’s newsletter reviews progress on a variety of fronts. Here is a one-liner for each of those topics covered in the remaining paragraphs:
o 4-Freedoms Educational Program. As we appear to be close to contract on the 4-Freedoms Project, a description of that program is included.
o Knutek. At Beryl’s World, we are about to rollout the first marketing campaigns for Knutek’s beauty, health, and fitness products.
o Gary Kinzel. Marketing Industry Veteran Gary Kinzel has joined the team at the Roomberg Consulting Group, adding breadth and depth of skills and experience to our team.
o Corporate Strategies, Inc. We are developing multiple campaigns for the client of this merchant banker.
o Next! What’s coming next at RCG?
RCG 6.second: 4-Freedoms Educational Program.

In the darkest days of World War II, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt gave a speech where he declared that every American should be assured of four freedoms. Those are the Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Worship, Freedom from Want, and Freedom from Fear. Norman Rockwell painted a poster on each topic. FDR loved the posters so much that the US government licensed them and then used them to sell more US War Bonds (now called US Savings Bonds) than in any other effort to fund the fight to win World War II.
Now, Redburn Promotions, Inc., has licensed the posters and developed an educational program on the Four Freedoms to market to the nation’s public schools. Their goal is to educate more than forty million US students on the four freedoms. They also aim to award ten million dollars in $100 Savings Bonds to students with winning essays on the Four Freedoms, and another ten million dollars in cash to Parent-Teacher-Associations (PTA’s) and other community groups across the nation. (Every winning school also receives a framed collage of the posters.) Redburn sales executive Brian Plunkett approached 200 schools in New Jersey, when test marketing the program this past summer. One hundred percent signed up for the program! Redburn is negotiating with RCG to collaborate on the national rollout of the program, with goal of participation by more than 100,000 schools over an eighteen-month period. We await the signed contracts, and are ready to contribute to the success of this timely project.
RCG 6.third: Knutek
|
|
Knutek (at www.knutek.com) provides some of the best health, beauty and fitness products available through more than 3,000 salons nationwide. Their natural products aid people with acne, rosacea, acid reflux, and more. Knutek signed a Beryl’s World Joint Venture (JV) contract in September. RCG is contributing the facilitation and day-to-day management of Knutek’s marketing execution through the Beryl’sWorld Marketing Network. Our first production of more than 100 million opt-in emails is scheduled for the next week. We will be placing web-site banners on more than 800,000 web pages in the following week. We are now negotiating to advertise Knutek products on radio stations nationwide and identifying one or two products for placement in the retail channel. More to come! |
RCG 6.fourth: Gary Kinzel

RCG 6.last: What’s coming next at RCG?
|
|

Well, as usual, six topics is about ten percent of what is going on, but I guess the rest will have to wait. Please feel to call or email and please stay in touch.
