Mr.
Burns had already been retained by 37Point9 resulting from his introduction to
your Company by Bruce Barren, Chairman of The EMCO/Hanover Group (http://www.emcohanover.com), to consult
with and identify prospective companies whose products are compatible with
37Point9's core competencies. Now, with Leon Roomberg -– “The Team is just
getting better,” adds Doug Brown.
Since its inception in 1971, The EMCO/Hanover Group members, as International
Merchant Bankers, have completed in excess of $3 billion in capital sourcing,
representing more than 1000 transactions and over 200 business turnarounds
representing in excess of a billion dollars in annualized payroll. Mr. Barren
has been serving 37Point9 as their lead consultant as they continue to pursue
multiple medical manufacturing and distribution companies in China.
The alliance with The Roomberg Consulting Group provides significant
additional intellectual resources to 37Point9, who most recently acquired Global
Glass Source Ltd. of Hong Kong, and who is in the process of closing two other
acquisitions at this time, the second to be announced this Wednesday. Initially,
these were preliminarily prior reported on Business Wire.
"We are excited by the creation of the partnership with RCG," Doug Brown
stated. "RCG Director Leon Roomberg and his team bring more than two decades of
experience developing the kinds of marketing systems we need to identify and
solicit compatible firms. Our Team has an exciting new member, with sound
credentials. With quality individuals like Roomberg, we will succeed in our
objectives of building a sound company, with an opportunity to produce
shareholder value. Watch us, we are arriving by the day, building one block at a
time to create an interesting platform for share appreciation.”
Founded in 1991, Roomberg Consulting Group principals have performed
consulting and/or management services for: Fuji Medical Systems, Sony, Frasier
Paper, Dianon, and Dynatech Corporations, to name just a few. For the last seven
years, RCG founder Leon Roomberg contributed extensively to Marketing
Communication Systems' marketing database business, designing systems for
McGraw-Hill, Encyclopaedia Britannica, RIAG, Ameriquest Mortgage, Orlando
Convention & Visitor's Bureau, and most recently, DuPont. (MCS was absorbed
into the Communication Concepts Group, which itself was reorganized into CC3,
and subsequently sold to a private investment firm earlier this year.)
According to Roomberg, “Through Bruce Barren and EMCO/Hanover, 37Point9 is
emerging as a dynamic force in the introduction of U.S. medical products into
China. Their focus on cardiovascular, blood related, and medical software areas
enable them to leverage a market within China that is both rapidly growing and
extremely profitable.”
Over the last thirty years, Stephen Burns has developed a reputation as both
a nationwide recruiter of top sales, technical, and executive talent, and also
as a valuable consulting resource to companies engaged in expansion and
turnaround efforts.
