Charles H. Hagerty (Chuck)
Spent five years in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 to 1962 working on air-to-ground and global communications in the Strategic Air Command (SAC) and Military Air Transport System (MATS). Participated in the Atomic Tests with the Atomic Energy Commission in the Pacific. Traveled to many Pacific area locations; Hawaii, Guam, Wake Island, Johnson Island, Kwajalein Island, to name a few.
After service, I joined Pennsylvania Institute of Technology as Instructor and Director of Electronics. Also employed by Burroughs Corporation (Technical Writer), Litton Industries (Technical Writer), and CXR/Digilog (Vice President Sales/Marketing).
Started DataPlus LLC, sales and marketing organization of data and telecommunications test and measurement products, in 1991. We currently maintain eight locations from New England to Virginia. I continue to run the company as President/CEO.
Judy and I married in 1963. We celebrated our 42nd anniversary with a cruise to Alaska’s Inside Passage. Travels have taken us to Spain, Germany, Austria, Panama Canal, Caribbean islands, and most of the 50 states.
We remained in the area for several years before moving to Chicago, and Kansas City. We currently reside in Kennett Square, PA. We have two married sons, David and Paul who live in the area. We have three Grandchildren: Jordan Elizabeth, Charles David, and Andrew Charles.
Activities include Grandchildren, outside work around the house, occasional golf, and tinkering with our restored 1964 Corvair Spyder convertible, but mostly Grandchildren.
