   After high school, I attended Pennsylvania Military College, and graduated in 1960 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. In 1971, I graduated from Villanova University with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in 1957. I was in the U. S. Marines and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve for more than 32 years. In1987 I graduated from the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle, PA, and retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a Colonel in 1990.

   I am a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In1968 I was a “White House Fellow” nominee, with an endorsement by the New Jersey Governor “William T. Cahill.” In 2001, the Boy Scouts of America, Burlington County Council, awarded me the Silver Beaver for distinguished service to youth. The award is given for noteworthy service of exceptional character to youth by registered scouts within the Burlington County Council.

   In 1961, I married a Lansdowne girl, Carol Brennan, of West Greenwood Avenue. We have three wonderful children, Michael, Kathleen, and Christopher. We also have three terrific grandchildren, Brenna, Jack , and Claire. We are able to visit with our grandchildren quite often, since they all live only about one hour from our Tabernacle, NJ, residence.

   I am a Vice President and Assistant Chief Engineer for the NDI Engineering Company, a Research and Consulting Engineering firm that provides design, supervision, and engineering services to DoD clients, and Pennsylvania and New Jersey municipalities and educational institutions.
