After completing 10th grade at Lansdowne-Aldan High School, my family moved about six blocks away to Upper Darby, and I had to change high schools. I graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1956.

I met my husband Jay down at the shore on vacation in Ship Bottom. We were married in 1957 and have three children Bill, Drew and Susan. We also have five grandchildren, Jim, Dave and Briannne Welsh and Zac and Orion Franklin.

Two of our children are living in Newtown Square, and we get to see them quite often. Our oldest son, Bill has an MBA in Computer Management and is working in that field. Our daughter Susan is the Director of the swimming program at Malvern Prep, and our son Drew, who lives in California, owns a Natural Food Store. Drew moved to California about 23 years ago and has two boys. Our grandson Zac just graduated in June from the University of California at Santa Cruz. Our other grandchildren are still in school. We go to California to visit as often as we can and usually combine the visits with a side trip.

Jay’s career caused us to relocate several times and we are now in our 10th house. Jay’s jobs have taken us to New Hampshire twice, New York and also to Annapolis, Maryland. We have enjoyed the moves and also the chance to travel a lot for business and entertaining customers.

We are now retired and living in Thornton, enjoying playing golf and going on vacations. We go to Florida for a couple of months in the winter and enjoy seeing all our friends.

I am really looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.
