Barbara Scena Walti
(These thoughts have been shared by Barbara’s daughter Jennifer and her son David)
Barbara F. Scena married Fred C. Walti on September 18, 1965. Fred was a Lansdowne-Aldan graduate from the Class of 1954. They resided for several years in Aldan, PA., and then moved to Chester County, PA. They had two children, David Charles Walti and Jennifer Anne W. Shern.
Barbara enjoyed cooking, racquetball, her neighbors, her longtime friends and Brett, her Boston terrier dog. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Her daughter Jennifer has three children. Barbara was able to spend time with her first grandson, Thomas Maxwell, but passed away before the birth of Allison Scena and Joshua Spencer. Her son David has no children at this time.
Barbara passed away on November 25, 2000. She is greatly missed by her family.
